Technology and Equipment Improve Food Distribution in Monte Vista

  • Local Champion: Templo Sion Assembly of God
  • Date Funded: May 5, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $3,240

Templo Sion Assembly of God Church hosts free community food distribution days twice a week for Monte Vista residents who are food insecure. But the church currently lacks the technological resources and supplies needed for volunteers to meet the growing need. A pastor at Templo Sion Assembly of God Church wanted the church to distribute food more efficiently to reach more residents, so he reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help the church purchase a laptop, tablet, printer, freezer, reusable grocery tote bags, and office supplies crucial for streamlining local food distribution, expanding access to nutritious food for Monte Vista residents in need.
