Summer Family Pop Up Event Series Brings Connections to Questa

Free summer family activity offerings are limited in Questa, and those that do exist often are held in religious facilities, which can deter some community members from attending. A recent series of community workshops highlighted the need for increased family/children activities as well. So local community members came up with an idea to launch a series of fun, affordable, and accessible events in different Questa neighborhoods throughout the summer. These Family Pop Up events include things like a Movie Night, Toddler Tea Party, Dancing Under The Stars, and even a Back to School Supply Giveaway with free haircuts. LOR’s support will help with the purchase of event supplies, marketing materials, and performer fees.
