Skeet Machines Launch New Recreation Opportunities in Libby

Libby’s Lincoln County Shooting Complex serves as a hub for locals interested in marksmanship and shooting recreation. The facility has four trap fields, two skeet fields, and a five-stand course, which the Libby Scatterguns, the Libby Rod and Gun Club’s trap and skeet group, use to host weekly shooting hours and local events. Volunteers with the Libby Scatterguns had the idea to develop the expansive shooting complex to host local and regional tournaments and boost community participation in shooting sports. But the complex didn’t have the equipment it needed to expand and become a destination for shooting athletes in Montana and the Pacific Northwest. So, one volunteer reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help the Libby Scatterguns purchase new skeet machines, voice calls, and other equipment so that the Lincoln County Shooting Complex can live up to its recreational and economic potential.
