Recovery Outreach Connects Cortez Residents to Lasting Community Support

Cortez community members navigating loneliness, isolation, grief, addiction, or trauma often lack welcoming spaces (and faces) where they can find support, build healthy relationships, and connect with resources that promote lasting well-being. Seeing this gap, one volunteer leader with Celebrate Recovery at Rock Springs Church came up with a solution. LOR’s funding helped Celebrate Recovery purchase outreach materials and event supplies like banners, a snow cone machine, and yard games to expand the reach and visibility of its community programming. The investment will strengthen Celebrate Recovery’s ability to reach more Cortez residents, connecting them with a caring community and ongoing support.
