Questa Preserves History With Newspaper Archive

  • Local Champion: Questa Economic Development Fund
  • Date Funded: May 5, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $1,533

Since launching in 2018, Questa’s community newspaper, the Questa Del Rio News has become an important community asset—and maintaining an archive of back issues is also an important part of preserving local history. To ensure public access to these materials, the Questa Library and Questa Del Rio News wanted to create and maintain an archive of back issues at the library. LOR’s funding will help support the purchase of equipment and professional services needed to establish this archive.
