Parish Hall Equipment Expands Community Gathering Space in Questa

  • Local Champion: Saint Anthony's Catholic Church- Questa
  • Date Funded: March 3, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $9,972

Questa has a limited number of indoor gathering spaces that are accessible and affordable for community events, reducing opportunities for community connection and local fundraising. When parish leadership realized that outdated equipment at Saint Anthony’s Parish Hall was restricting their ability to host both community and private gatherings, they contacted LOR with a plan to expand the hall’s year-round usability.

LOR’s funding will help the Catholic Daughters of the Americas purchase and install kitchen equipment—including a refrigerator, oven, and freezer—along with audiovisual gear to support family engagement nights, movie screenings, craft fairs, and community meals. Open to all residents regardless of church affiliation, this upgraded space will provide an affordable indoor venue—especially during colder months—while strengthening opportunities for family connection and local fundraising throughout Questa.
