Outreach Materials Strengthen Public Engagement and Safety in Questa

  • Local Champion: Village of Questa
  • Date Funded: June 8, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $4,500

Questa residents have limited access to consistent community safety education and public engagement opportunities, which reduces awareness of emergency preparedness and local services that support overall well-being. When village leadership and emergency responders recognized that a lack of professional outreach materials limited their ability to communicate effectively with residents at community events, they reached out to LOR with a solution to support coordinated public safety engagement. LOR’s funding will help the Village of Questa purchase educational materials, banners, tablecloths, and promotional stickers for use by fire, EMS, police, and municipal departments at community events throughout the year. These reusable outreach tools will strengthen communication and trust between residents and first responders and increase awareness of emergency preparedness and available community services in Questa.
