Creativity Builds Student Confidence in Monte Vista

Monte Vista students have limited access to structured creative enrichment opportunities that support social-emotional development, confidence building, and positive self-expression. Recognizing that many Delta Center students face significant hardships and lack consistent support outside of school, one administrative staff member reached out to LOR with an idea: create a safe, creative space where students feel valued and empowered.

LOR’s funding will help purchase crafting supplies and snacks for weekly sessions, giving students the chance to engage in hands-on creative activities in a supportive environment. The program will help students in alternative education build confidence, strengthen peer relationships, develop problem-solving skills, and experience a greater sense of belonging within their school community.
