Additional Equipment Ensures All Monte Vista Youth Can Play Ball

  • Local Champion: City of Monte Vista
  • Date Funded: July 14, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $6,000

Participation in the City of Monte Vista’s recreational youth baseball league has increased by more than 25 percent over last year. In order to be able to support the growth—and especially economically disadvantaged players—the league needed additional equipment. The city already provides financial support for the program, so coaches reached out to LOR for help. LOR’s support will help with the procurement of gloves, balls, helmets, catchers gear, and other equipment.
