A Warehouse Forklift Keeps Libby Public Schools Supplied

  • Local Champion: Libby K-12 Schools
  • Date Funded: October 31, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

The Libby School District has a large warehouse for school supplies, but when the warehouse forklift stopped working they were left with mountains of paper and other supplies and no efficient way to transport them. Moreover, the district had to stop ordering bulk educational materials, which was negatively impacting learning outcomes. With these issues in mind, the school district’s facility manager reached out to the LOR Foundation with an idea to purchase a used forklift that will allow the district to efficiently distribute school supplies and resume ordering bulk material.
