A Simple Storage Upgrade Makes Weiser’s Rodeo Grounds Safer for All

  • Local Champion: Weiser Valley Round-Up Association
  • Date Funded: December 19, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $14,000

The rodeo grounds in Weiser are used for competitions, community events, and other activities throughout the year, but the storage shed on site is falling apart, making the area unsafe for volunteers and other community members who use it. A volunteer with the rodeo identified this problem and an easy solution: replace the shed. LOR’s funding will help with the purchase of a new, pre-built shed, sand for the base, and other material like sheetrock and insulated wire to restore the space. When the new shed is opened in July 2025, the rodeo grounds will be a safer place for all who rely on it throughout Weiser.

This funding opportunity is fiscally sponsored by the Angel Wings Network.
