A New Mural Brings Vibrancy to Downtown Monte Vista

  • Local Champion: Monte Vista local
  • Date Funded: August 18, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $2,500

Downtown Monte Vista‘s vibrancy is diminished by many empty storefronts and dilapidated buildings, leading to fewer tourists spending time and money. One local resident came up with the idea to add a mural to the area to boost tourist attraction and encourage residents and motorists passing through to spend time in the shopping district. LOR’s funding will help cover artists fees and supplies.

This project was fiscally sponsored by SLV Development Resources Group.
