A Modern Website Gives Libby Residents Direct Access to Local Government

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County
  • Date Funded: July 22, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

For Libby residents, accessing county government often means taking time off work or making a trip to the courthouse—even for basic information—because Lincoln County’s outdated website offers no gateway to county services. One Lincoln County staffer saw a way to solve this problem, so he reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Lincoln County purchase and license software tools to complete a full modernization of the county website and deploy a public open records system. The redesigned site will allow residents to find information, submit records requests, and complete county business at their convenience without a phone call or a drive to the courthouse.
