A Meeting Space Connects Taos Housing Groups

  • Local Champion: Taos Housing Partnership
  • Date Funded: April 24, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $3,160

Many Taos residents and organizations are working hard to address local housing challenges, but they currently lack a shared space to collaborate. Recognizing this need, staff with Taos Housing Partnership came up with a solution and reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Taos Housing Partnership purchase essential equipment and supplies—such as a web camera, speakers, and power accessories—to establish a small, well-equipped conference and meeting room for local housing groups, including the DreamTree Project and 100% Housing Action Team. The space will host community meetings and educational seminars, helping foster dialogue, build partnerships, and support more equitable housing solutions for Taos.
