A Griddle Keeps Weiser Volunteers Safe and Serving the Community

Weiser Lions Club volunteers operate a concession stand at local sporting events to raise funds for community causes. But their decades-old griddle has become slow and dangerous due to malfunctioning burners. One member of the club recognized the safety risk to volunteers, so she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Lions Club and the city of Weiser purchase and install a flat-top grill with a new gas line, work tables on wheels, and anti-fatigue mats. The equipment will create a safer and more efficient environment for volunteers, helping the Lions Club to continue benefiting Weiser youth and other community programs.
