A Field Striper Keeps Libby Sports Running

  • Local Champion: Libby K-12 Schools
  • Date Funded: March 3, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $4,058

Libby hosts numerous outdoor sports throughout the year, from football and soccer to softball and track. The problem is Libby Public Schools’ 20-year-old field striper has become inoperable after multiple repairs, leaving local playing fields in poor shape without clearly marked boundaries. One staff member at Libby Middle High School realized this equipment failure threatened youth sports programs, so he reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Libby Public Schools purchase a new athletic field striper, ensuring Libby’s youth sports can continue running smoothly.
