A Community Resource Program Offers Support to Libby Families

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County Unite for Youth
  • Date Funded: February 25, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $7,500

Many Libby families struggle to connect and spend quality time together due to limited structured activities in the community. Previous attempts to launch family-focused programs in Libby had faltered when volunteers couldn’t devote enough time or resources to make them successful. So, when one dedicated community member saw this gap, she reached out to LOR with an idea to revitalize these efforts. LOR’s funding will help Lincoln County Unite for Youth purchase event equipment, including supplies for interactive stations, and advertise for a revamped “Spring Up Libby” program, which will create regular events where families can strengthen relationships while connecting with local resources and services.
