A Cargo Van Helps Libby Volunteers Deliver Christmas

Each year the Libby nonprofit Our Kids delivers comfort items and basic necessities to more than 400 Libby children who would not otherwise have anything under their Christmas trees. However, many of the group’s dedicated volunteers lack the resources and reliable transportation they need to collect donations and deliver items to children across the Libby community. When one local business took the extraordinary step of offering to sell the group a nearly new van at less than half price, Our Kids’ staff reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Our Kids purchase the discounted cargo van, ensuring volunteers can continue picking up community donations and delivering essential items to Libby children during the holidays.
