Traffic Safety Equipment Protects Workers and Drivers in Questa

  • Local Champion: Village Of Questa
  • Date Funded: July 29, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $11,250

Two recent traffic accidents near Questa road repair sites highlighted the urgent need for better traffic safety equipment to protect both workers and motorists in construction zones. With more residents and tourists driving through town, especially during busy summer months, village staff recognized that inadequate signage and road markers were creating dangerous conditions and reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help the Village of Questa purchase essential safety equipment, including solar beacons, traffic barrels, warning signs, and road cones to clearly mark construction areas and guide traffic around work sites–protecting public works crews and ensuring the safety of everyone traveling through Questa’s construction zones.
