Speed Signs Improve Safety on Questa’s Roads

  • Local Champion: Village Of Questa
  • Date Funded: March 20, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $12,950

Excessive speeding on Questa’s roads has led to numerous accidents and several fatalities over the years, including one recent death. It’s a problem Village of Questa staff recognized needed an urgent solution. Hoping to reduce speeds throughout town, they reached out to LOR with a plan. LOR’s funding will help the Village of Questa purchase and install four radar speed signs with solar panels along local roadways, alerting drivers to their speed and encouraging them to slow down to make the roads safer for residents, pedestrians, and other motorists.
