Parts and Maintenance Restore Weiser’s Ambulance Fleet

Weiser residents depend on the Weiser Ambulance District, which is operated by Washington County, for emergency medical response. But the district doesn’t have the funds to address the mechanical failures that have rendered two ambulances unsafe to operate. District staff knew the fleet couldn’t fall short for the community, so they reached out to LOR with a solution: hire a mechanic and purchase the parts to repair Weiser’s ambulances. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Ambulance District complete an A/C unit rebuild, electrical repairs, and major oil leak repairs. The district will cover the remaining repair costs for the rest of the fleet, restoring a fully operational ambulance service.
