New Equipment Expands Opportunities for Questa Track & Field Athletes

  • Local Champion: Questa Independent School District
  • Date Funded: November 22, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $17,285

In recent years, the Questa High School Track & Field team’s strong performances have increased interest in the sport among students across grade levels. The district was eager to expand the program to give more youth opportunities for structured physical activity, but it lacked the equipment needed to accommodate more participants, so a staff member reached out to LOR for help. With funding from the LOR Foundation, the Track & Field program purchased six new sets of hurdles and additional equipment to ensure the expanded and safe participation of Questa student-athletes for years to come.
