Holiday Lights Brighten Downtown Weiser for the Season

  • Local Champion: City of Weiser
  • Date Funded: November 24, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $4,675

Weiser’s business district sits dark and uninviting during winter evenings, limiting foot traffic and sales for local businesses during the busiest shopping season. Seeing a potential solution but with no budget, city of Weiser staff reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help the city of Weiser purchase 275 strands of industrial-grade lights to illuminate 55 trees throughout the downtown corridor. The lights will create a festive atmosphere that encourages locals and visitors to shop downtown, supporting small businesses while bringing community pride back to Weiser’s charming business district.
