Business Workshops Prepare Questa Entrepreneurs for Growth

  • Local Champion: Questa Economic Development Fund
  • Date Funded: March 3, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $8,496

Questa entrepreneurs and aspiring small business owners have limited access to structured business pitch training and mentorship, which can reduce readiness to compete for funding opportunities and slow local economic growth. When economic development leaders heard from local business owners about the need for stronger preparation before approaching lenders or grant programs, they developed an idea: create a comprehensive workshop series culminating in a pitch contest.

LOR’s funding helped the Questa Economic Development Fund hire professional instructors to deliver ten free Business Quest workshops covering business planning, budgeting, marketing, and pitch development, with participants competing for $30,000 in grants. These hands-on sessions now equip Questa entrepreneurs with practical tools to develop strong business models, access capital, and grow revenue, while building a supportive local business network that strengthens community economic resilience.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Localogy.
