Changing Tables Help Libby Families Participate in Community Life

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County Health Department
  • Date Funded: March 9, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

Many Libby businesses and community spaces lack changing tables, creating barriers for families with young children who want to attend local events, sports activities, and civic gatherings. Staff with Lincoln County Kids wanted to remove this barrier after hearing from parents in community focus groups, so they reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Lincoln County Kids and the Lincoln County Health Department purchase and install 20 changing tables in both men’s and women’s restrooms across local businesses and community venues. The changing tables will enable caregivers to participate in community events while supporting local businesses through increased attendance.
