Event Supplies Help a Nonprofit Support the Weiser Community

  • Local Champion: Weiser Splash Pad
  • Date Funded: September 18, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $4,500

The nonprofit Weiser Splash Pad has done a lot for the Weiser community, supporting local youth initiatives and other community groups. However, the nonprofit’s organizing and fundraising efforts have been hampered by a lack of essential equipment, with volunteers often relying on borrowed items to run their events. Hoping to solidify and expand the group’s work, one volunteer reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Weiser Splash Pad purchase much-needed supplies, including foldable chairs, tables, and canopies, as well as a storage shed. The new equipment will make it easer for volunteers to run events and activities and will be available to other community groups to help them continue their vital work.
