Concession Stand Renovations Support Community Events at Taos’ Kit Carson Park

  • Local Champion: Little League Baseball Inc
  • Date Funded: June 25, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $9,790

Taos’ Kit Carson Park currently lacks a functional concession stand, limiting opportunities for local organizations to serve families and raise funds to support community events. To address this gap, Taos Little League parents and board members reached out to LOR with a solution: renovate the park’s existing concession stand. LOR’s funding will help Taos Little League hire licensed contractors and purchase the supplies to upgrade the stand’s electrical systems, install a large serving window, and outfit the stand with essential equipment like refrigerators, grills, and popcorn machines. The renovated facility will allow Taos Little League and other local clubs, schools, and organizations to better engage with the community while raising funds to support their programs.
