A Sidewalk Ramp Smooths a Path for Weiser Pedestrians

  • Local Champion: St. Agnes Catholic Church
  • Date Funded: December 11, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $5,900

Many Weiser residents struggle to safely step or roll from the street onto the public sidewalk at the corner of St. Agnes Catholic Church due to the high curb. One church volunteer recognized that this created barriers for community members walking to City Park, medical clinics, and county offices, so she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR's funding will help St. Agnes Catholic Church hire a contractor to tear out and replace the curb with an ADA-compliant sidewalk ramp, allowing all Weiser pedestrians to safely navigate this busy area.
