A Shade Structure Upgrades Questa’s EV Charging Station

  • Local Champion: Village Of Questa
  • Date Funded: July 15, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $8,225

Questa’s only fast-charging electric vehicle station lacks shaded seating, forcing users to wait in hot cars or wander around the parking lot. Village of Questa staff wanted to create a comfortable space that would attract locals and tourists to use the charging station, so they reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help the Village of Questa create a shaded rest area next to the charging station complete with a table, umbrella, and benches. The space will allow both locals and travelers to enjoy Questa while their vehicles charge, encouraging repeat visits and local spending in the community.
