A Library Event Series Brings Weiser Adults Together

Weiser lacks regular opportunities for adult residents to come together, learn, and explore shared interests with their neighbors. Staff with the Weiser Public Library recognized this gap and wanted to create a series of events to bring residents together, so they reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help the Weiser Public Library cover refreshments and other materials to launch a new event series. The free community events, which will include two dozen lectures, author talks, and book clubs, will give Weiser adults opportunities to discover new interests, connect with neighbors, and form lasting community connections.
