A Behavioral Health Clinic Brings Critical Support to Weiser

Weiser residents lack local access to mental health and substance use services. Many are forced to travel miles to get the care they need or go without support—a barrier that has led to failed court requirements and untreated conditions. After a local judge, hospital staff, and service providers recognized the critical need, they reached out to LOR with the idea to launch a behavioral health clinic in Weiser. LOR’s funding will help Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization secure a downtown location and purchase furnishings, technology, and other equipment. The new clinic will offer counseling, substance use treatment, case management, and recovery coaching, keeping Weiser residents connected to essential support in their own community.
