Weiser Pantry Upgrades Improve Community Food Distribution

Love INC of Washington County’s food pantry serves as a critical resource for Weiser residents in need, but the pantry’s lack of proper food storage and organization creates safety hazards for volunteers and limits efficient food storage and distribution. Identifying the group’s storage room as a priority for improvement, staff members with Love INC reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Love INC purchase industrial carts, food service tables, storage containers, and a new chest freezer, while also supporting the installation of new shelving. The improvements will create a safer workspace for volunteers while increasing the pantry’s capacity to serve Weiser residents during difficult times.
