Tutoring Supplies Help Questa Honors Students Give Back

Peer mentoring can positively impact students’ academic, social, and emotional development, improving everything from test scores to self-confidence and overall motivation. With these goals in mind, Questa’s high school honors students wanted to launch a mentorship program for younger students, but they lacked the supplies needed to turn their vision into reality. To solve this problem, they contacted LOR for help purchasing materials that will enable them to recruit mentees and provide fun and engaging activities throughout the year. LOR’s funding will be used to equip the honors students with the tutoring and mentorship supplies they need to give back to the community during the 2023-2024 academic year and beyond.
