Training Equipment Keeps Libby Law Enforcement Up to Date

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County Sheriff's Office
  • Date Funded: February 11, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $6,500

The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office has more than 40 roles and positions, each of which requires ongoing training and certification throughout the year. But as training providers have shifted from paper-based materials to digital platforms, the sheriff’s office has run up against the department’s equipment limitations, preventing officers and administrative staff from completing required certifications. One sheriff’s office staff member wanted to ensure all of the department’s employees could access their training and maintain professional standards, so she reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office purchase laptops, software, and other electronic supplies. The equipment will enable staff to complete required training and stay up to date on their skills, preparing them to effectively serve and protect the community.
