Trail Signs Guide Weiser Cyclists and Walkers

  • Local Champion: Friends of the Weiser River Trail
  • Date Funded: March 30, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $5,500

Weiser trail users risk accidents at road crossings and other locations because many signs along the Weiser River Trail are decades old, unreadable, or incorrectly placed. Volunteers with Friends of the Weiser River Trail wanted to remedy the problem while also encouraging stewardship, so they reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Friends of the Weiser River Trail purchase and install 34 signs, including caution markers, dog waste reminders, and electric bike regulations. The updated signs will improve safety for local residents while also protecting the community resource for years to come.
