Telehealth Infrastructure Brings Psychiatric Services to Weiser

  • Local Champion: Cornerstone Whole Healthcare Organization
  • Date Funded: August 13, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $9,000

Weiser residents who need psychiatric care currently face a 60- to 90-minute drive for help—a barrier that leaves many without access to the diagnosis, medication management, and treatment they need. One local provider and mental health leader with Cornerstone Whole Healthcare wanted to fill this gap, so she reached out to LOR with a solution: telehealth services. LOR’s funding will help Cornerstone Whole Healthcare purchase a telehealth workstation, a mobile kit for psychiatric medication monitoring, and install a patient-side station at Weiser’s Family Health Services office. The equipment will allow Cornerstone to establish dedicated psychiatric telehealth services in Weiser, allowing residents to get the help they need locally.
