Snowflake Decorations Preserve a Libby Winter Tradition

  • Local Champion: A Libby local
  • Date Funded: September 24, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $9,649

For decades, wreaths along Libby’s Mineral Avenue have marked the winter season, drawing residents and visitors to the central shopping district each year. But after years of use, the wreaths have reached the end of their life. After a local volunteer and business owner identified the problem, she came up with a solution: replace the aging wreaths with LED snowflake pole displays. LOR’s funding helped the Libby local purchase 24 snowflake pole decorations with mounting hardware, preserving the tradition and ensuring Libby’s business corridor remains a welcoming destination for residents and visitors each winter.

This project is fiscally sponsored by Libby Area Community Advancement.
