Offices Help the Lincoln County Health Department Serve More Libby Residents

As Libby’s population grows, the Lincoln County Health Department is serving more and more residents. But limited office space has made it difficult for the department to accommodate three new positions, including an intern and staff overseeing behavioral health services and asbestos exposure. Health department staff reached out to LOR with a solution: hire a contractor to build three enclosed offices. LOR’s funding will help the Lincoln County Health Department hire contractors to convert existing doorways into walls, create enclosed office spaces, and install flooring and carpet. The new offices will allow the department to expand its behavioral health, asbestos, and public health services, ensuring a growing number of Libby residents receive responsive, confidential care.
