New Technology Improves Ambulance Response in Weiser

  • Local Champion: Washington County and Weiser Ambulance District
  • Date Funded: December 17, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

Paramedics from Idaho’s Washington County and Weiser Ambulance District deliver essential healthcare outside of the hospital and provide vital services for Weiser residents. However, paramedics struggle to deliver care efficiently due to outdated intake charts, records, and hospital communications. To address this problem, staff at the ambulance district reached out to the LOR Foundation with an idea to improve the delivery of healthcare services. With the foundation’s support, the district was able to purchase new computers and equipment to improve ambulance services throughout the area, improving care for the community at large.
