New Flags Honor Weiser’s Veterans

  • Local Champion: City of Weiser
  • Date Funded: September 25, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $3,750

The flags and poles at Weiser’s Veteran’s Park have deteriorated over the years, making it difficult to hold proper ceremonies honoring local veterans. One city staffer wanted to ensure that Weiser’s veterans received the recognition and respect they deserved, so she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help the city of Weiser purchase and install six new flagpoles and flags at Veteran’s Park. The upgrades will help honor local veterans during ceremonies and community gatherings while recognizing their service and sacrifice.
