Libby Senior Class Restores the Logger Stadium Concession Stand

  • Local Champion: Libby K-12 Schools
  • Date Funded: February 13, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $28,075

The concession stand at Logger Stadium has long been a gathering spot for the Libby community during high school games and other major events, but lately the facility has fallen into disrepair. Heavy snow damaged the roof, and the adjacent bathrooms are not ADA accessible. As the 2023 senior class contemplated how to give back to their school before graduating, they realized restoring the concession stand would have tremendous impact. The senior class president reached out to the LOR Foundation, which provided a grant that will help pay for a new roof on the concession stand, new windows, and additional modifications to make the area accessible. Other local groups, including churches and contractors, have offered support and will work with volunteers from the senior class to finish the project by the end of the school year.
