Festive Lights Keep Downtown Weiser Bright All Winter Long

  • Local Champion: Main Street Weiser Inc
  • Date Funded: November 12, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $3,500

Downtown Weiser’s flower pots sit empty during the winter months after summer blooms die back, leaving the business district dark and uninviting. One volunteer with Main Street Weiser saw an opportunity to extend the value of this previous LOR-funded beautification project, so she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Main Street Weiser purchase festive light-up inserts for the flower pots. The winter displays will bring warmth and ambiance to Weiser’s business district, encouraging residents and visitors to spend time downtown and support local shops.
