Educational Materials Boost Questa After-School Learning

  • Local Champion: Localogy
  • Date Funded: April 17, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $6,576

Quality after-school programs provide critical academic support for students, but Questa’s program lacks the educational materials needed to create engaging hands-on learning experiences. After-school staff recognized the importance of expanding students’ ability to explore and learn beyond the regular school day, so they reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help Localogy and the Questa Independent School District purchase laptops, microscopes, educational kits, and other supplies while also supporting field trips to nearby educational sites. The new resources will help transform Questa’s after-school program into a structured learning space where students can continue developing literacy, math, and science skills through hands-on activities.
