Digital Scoreboard Changes the Game for Small Businesses and Student Athletes in Questa

  • Local Champion: Questa Independent School District
  • Date Funded: February 21, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $13,500

With more Questa youth participating in school-based athletics than ever before, the Questa Independent School District is constantly searching for new funding sources to support and expand opportunities for their student-athletes. With that goal in mind, two district employees reached out to LOR with an idea: purchase an LED Scorer’s Table where local businesses can pay to advertise their products and services to game attendees, with all proceeds benefitting the athletics program.

With LOR’s support, the district purchased the digital display, providing a valuable advertising outlet to local businesses and a steady fundraising stream to support school sports in Questa.
