Computers Streamline Hospice Care for Monte Vista Residents

  • Local Champion: Hospice Del Valle, Inc.
  • Date Funded: May 29, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $10,000

Monte Vista residents who need hospice care can receive services at low or no cost from Hospice del Valle, but the nonprofit doesn’t have the technology necessary to deliver timely, high-quality support to all patients and their families. Staff with Hospice del Valle recognized the organization could support more families with updated infrastructure, so they reached out to LOR for support. LOR’s funding will help Hospice del Valle purchase 10 desktop computers essential for client services including intakes, assessments, medication updates, and referrals to other agencies. The upgraded equipment will improve communication and streamline care coordination, helping Monte Vista patients and their families focus on what matters: celebrating life.
