Cemetery Improvements Create a Peaceful Space for Weiser Families

The niche area at Weiser’s Hillcrest Cemetery has deteriorated over the years, leaving families with an unwelcoming space for their loved ones’ final resting place. One local resident lost her husband and wanted to place his ashes at the cemetery, but she found the niche area in need of improvements. Seeing a problem, she reached out to LOR with a solution. LOR’s funding will help the Hillcrest Cemetery District renovate the niche area with new concrete, benches, granite flower vases, and lighting to create a peaceful environment for families. The upgrades will provide Weiser residents with a dignified space to visit and remember their loved ones while opening the niche to more families.
