Bi-Monthly Engagement Nights Support Community Building in Questa

  • Local Champion: A Questa Local
  • Date Funded: September 16, 2024
  • Grant Amount: $4,000

Questa residents have a limited number of opportunities to come together to socialize and build community throughout the year, especially during the winter months. So, a Village employee reached out with an idea: organize bi-monthly ‘Community Engagement’ nights at a local coffee shop. Each night will be centered around a unique hands-on activity—like sewing or painting—and led by a local volunteer with experience in the craft or art practice.

LOR’s funding covered the cost of project materials for the first year of ‘Community Engagement’ nights, helping to create opportunities for Questa residents of all ages to come together and have fun while gaining new skills.

This project was fiscally sponsored by Localogy.
