An Online Resource Makes Mental Health Help More Accessible in Libby

  • Local Champion: Lincoln County Health Department
  • Date Funded: November 13, 2023
  • Grant Amount: $4,910

Libby residents seeking mental health services struggle with access due to the area’s limited number of mental health providers. In fact, according to a recent survey, the main reason people in Libby do not receive help with their mental health is because they cannot get an appointment. To address this problem, the Lincoln County Public Health Department wants to launch an online mental health tool that will help residents find help and connect with other mental health resources. The LOR Foundation helped by providing funding for the start up costs and one year of service for the CredibleMind platform, which will offer Libby residents additional mental wellbeing resources.
