A Storage System Organizes Hygiene Supplies for Libby Elementary Students

  • Local Champion: Libby K-12 Schools
  • Date Funded: October 9, 2025
  • Grant Amount: $2,446

Libby Elementary School receives generous donations of clothing and hygiene supplies for students, but the building lacks proper storage equipment to organize these items. Without bins, shelves, or labeled containers, staff struggle to quickly locate appropriate sizes when a child needs fresh clothes, leaving donated items unused and students waiting. The school nurse wanted to transform the donated supplies into an accessible resource, so she reached out to LOR with an idea. LOR’s funding will help Libby Elementary purchase shelving units, storage cubes, hangers, and clothing racks to create an organized system for donated items. The new storage will allow staff to quickly find clean clothes in the right sizes, ensuring students can return to learning comfortably rather than feeling embarrassed about accidents.
