A Fresh Start Revitalizes Weiser’s Farmers Market

  • Local Champion: Friends of the Chamber of Commerce
  • Date Funded: May 22, 2026
  • Grant Amount: $9,500

Weiser’s farmers market has struggled to regain momentum since COVID-19, dropping from over 25 vendors and 100 visitors to just 10 vendors and a handful of customers. After new leadership took on the challenge of revitalizing the market, they reached out to LOR with the first phase of their plan. LOR’s funding will help Friends of the Weiser Chamber of Commerce, which operates the Weiser Farmers Market, purchase tents, tables, and banners and hire local entertainment to relaunch the market. The upgrades will return the Weiser Farmers Market to a vibrant community destination that supports local vendors and brings residents together.
